Club Profile

2017 Team Photo

Although a relatively small club, we have enjoyed plenty of success over the 70-odd years we have been in existence, both as a Club in team competitions, and through our members' individual achievements.

We regularly supply several members of the Middlesex County Rifle Team, and have had members representing England, Scotland and Great Britain on numerous occasions.

In recent years we have achieved some notable successes in the London Mayors' Association annual rifle competition, providing the winning team for the London Borough of Hillingdon for eight of the last ten years.

However, we do not let success go to our heads and recognise that none of it would be possible without beginners.

We actively welcome newcomers to our sport, and provide equipment and instruction as required. In order to provide the highest standards of instruction, we sometimes have to limit the number of beginners we can accept as members. We have developed a programme of instruction for each of the main disciplines we offer, so that raw beginners can be quickly brought to a basic level of knowledge and skill to enable them to take part in our regular club sessions without requiring a disruptive amount of attention from our volunteer coaches. Not only does this help them to fit in with longer established members, but it increases their self-confidence, enabling them to join in with all aspects of club membership.

We are affiliated to the National Small-bore Rifle Association, the Middlesex Small-Bore Rifle Association, the Buckinghamshire County Rifle Association, and the London and Middlesex Rifle Association.

We are sorry, but we are unable to accept any more new members for the time being due to the anticipated closure of our facilities to make way for the construction of HS2. If/when we are in a position to accept new members again we will post a notice here inviting you to contact us.
