Hillingdon have won the London Inter-boroughs competition final for the third year running!
This year Ruislip provided all of Hillingdon's 8-strong team, repeating the wins of 2008 and 2007 in this prestigious competition. Teams from the top 5 London Boroughs in the preliminary postal rounds met at the Ham & Petersham club in Surrey.
Having scraped through into the final in 5th place, the Hillingdon team won all their matches in the round-robin competition, breaking 24 1-inch clay discs at a range of 100 yards faster than the opposing team. |

Ruislip member Tim Shipman won the Gluckstein Cup at this year's Middlesex Championship meeting. The cup is awarded for the highest score from a shooter that has not been a member of the County A team, although we have no doubt Tim will achieve this soon as well!
